

President Burton to Represent Dominica at 81st UN General Assembly
President of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Her Excellency Sylvanie Burton, DAH, will represent the country at the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, where world leaders will gather to consider the major challenges confronting the international community. President Burton will depart Dominica on Saturday, September 19, and is scheduled to address the General Assembly on Tuesday, September 22. She will return to the state on Thursday, September 24.


Grenada Celebrates Successful Spicemas 2026 with 20% Increase in Visitor Arrivals
Grenada recorded a 20% increase in total visitor arrivals for the 2026 Spicemas period, underscoring the continued growth of the festival as one of the Caribbean’s most distinctive cultural tourism experiences. AABL BRINGS INTERNATIONAL BASKETBALL, PLAYER EXPOSURE AND SPORTS TOURISM TO DOMINICA
The All About Ball League (AABL), in partnership with the Dominica Amateur Basketball Association (DABA), will host an international basketball exposure tournament at the Massacre Indoor Sports Complex from September 17–26, 2026.
