Caribbean farmers & agro-processors, to include Dominica, to benefit from the $5.3M Caribbean Agricultural Productivity Improvement Activity (CAPIA)

A three-year USAID funded program was launched to the tune of $5.3M recently by the International Executive Service Corps, and countries in the Eastern and Southern Caribbean are set to benefit.

Program Director of the Caribbean Agricultural Productivity Improvement Activity Sandiford Edwards says the intervention is not a paper-based one, but one where they will work one-on-one with farmers on their farms to ensure that at the end their farms are successful, with more money coming in and as a result, a more sustainable enterprise.
