Grenada Elevates Global Nautical Profile Through Engagements at Palm Beach International Boat Show

Building on Grenada's momentum of recognition as one of the Caribbean’s premier yachting destinations, the Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) successfully concluded a high-impact mission at the Palm Beach International Boat Show in West Palm Beach, Florida. Led by GTA’s CEO Mrs. Stacey Liburd and the Nautical Development Manager,

Ms. Shanai St. Bernard, the delegation’s presence was a tactical move within the Authority’s broader strategy to cement the tri-island state of Grenada, Carriacou, and

Petite Martinique as the leading hub for luxury charters, homeporting, and nautical excellence.

Central to the mission was an exclusive Brokers Breakfast, hosted by GTA in partnership with Boat International Media. The event served as a curated forum for top-tier representatives from the world’s most influential brokerage houses, including Ocean Independence, IYC, Fraser, Burgess, Camper &; Nicholsons, and Denison Yachting. During the session, the GTA delivered a comprehensive destination presentation highlighting the islands’ state-of-the-art marina facilities, sheltered anchorages, easy cruising grounds, on-island soft adventure offerings, and

unique diving experiences. By providing direct engagement and resources to brokers within the luxury yachting market, the GTA continues to ensure that Grenada remains top-of-mind for their high net worth client recommendations.

“Our mission at Palm Beach was defined by intentionality,” said Stacey Liburd, CEO of the Grenada Tourism Authority. “By connecting directly with the architects of the world's most prestigious yachting itineraries, we are ensuring Grenada is continuously recognized as a premier destination for the global fleet. We remain dedicated to cultivating these kinds of partnerships that secure a resilient future for our tourism industry.”

The GTA further amplified its marketing reach through a series of media and corporate

meetings, including a scheduled session with Robb Report, to reinforce an ongoing yachting-focused campaign. Targeted discussions with key partners focused on deepening existing collaborations and exploring new avenues for strategic growth with Boat International and other elite yachting industry partners. By increasing Grenada’s visibility in the luxury sector, these engagements ensure the tri-island state remains a top-tier destination for high-end chartering and maritime investment.

Ms. Shanai St. Bernard, Nautical Development Manager at the GTA, spoke to the impact of attending these high-level events. “These engagements are critical to the evolution of our blue economy. Throughout this event, we sent a clear message: Grenada offers the infrastructure and the authentic experience that luxury clients around the globe demand.” She went on to say, “We are leveraging this momentum to firmly position the tri-island state as the preferred Southern Caribbean hub for elite charters.”

Through these sustained partnerships, the Grenada Tourism Authority remains committed to driving increased market share and ensuring the long-term growth of the islands' yachting sector.
