Discussion to highlight Dominica’s progress toward Green Destination certification and the importance of sustainable tourism practices
— The Ministry of Tourism and Discover Dominica Authority will
host the inaugural Nature Talks panel discussion on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at Jungle Bay, under the theme The Importance of Sustainability and the Green Destination Certification.
As part of Tourism Awareness Month 2025, this discussion will bring together leaders in tourism, environmental sustainability and destination development to examine Dominica’s path toward achieving Green Destination certification and the critical role of sustainable practices in the future of the island’s tourism sector.

The panel will facilitate dialogue among policymakers, industry leaders and community stakeholders, reinforcing Dominica’s commitment to protecting its natural environment while fostering economic opportunity through tourism.
