Prime Minister Skerrit informed Calibishie residents that any changes to the original construction plan for the Calibishie Primary School would result in an eight-month delay.

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit and his Cabinet members convened a meeting with Calibishie residents following a demonstration expressing dissatisfaction with the government's plans to construct the Calibishie Primary School, managed by a Chinese firm, on the community's sole playing field.

During the meeting, Skerrit assured residents that the government would acquire land to relocate and expand the community playing field behind the new school.

PM Skerrit urged residents to consider the message sent to children by rejecting the proposed plan for the new educational facility, emphasizing that any deviation from the original construction plan would result in an eight-month delay.
