Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit underscored the significance of unity and cooperation among CARICOM Leaders in a recent meeting. He highlighted their shared commitment to maintaining peace, even in the face of challenges experienced by other regions. Skerrit specifically pointed to a peaceful discussion between Guyana and Venezuela as evidence of CARICOM's dedication to resolving conflicts through peaceful means. Additionally, he voiced his endorsement for Guyana's President Dr. Irfaan Ali, who serves as the new chair of CARICOM.
