Work Online Dominica Launches Cohort 5 in Partnership with Local Digital Ambassadors.

Work Online Dominica is proud to announce the

official launch of its fifth and final cohort, a significant milestone in the program’s evolution.

As the initiative enters its final year, the project is transitioning into its next phase of

sustainability, empowering local digital ambassadors—graduates of previous cohorts—to take the lead in its implementation.

This cohort will provide 60 individuals across Dominica with the skills and knowledge

needed to succeed in the online freelancing space. Uniquely, this phase of the program will be facilitated entirely by past participants who have completed the 12-week Work Online Dominica program and a comprehensive Training of Trainers (TOT) course. These digital ambassadors have successfully transitioned from traditional jobs to full-time online freelancing, exemplifying the impact of the program.

IsraAID Dominica, which has been a key partner in the development and implementation of the Work Online Dominica program, is thrilled to collaborate with these talented digital ambassadors. These ambassadors will operate as part of Creativity in Motion (CIM), a local consulting company responding to the overwhelming success of the Work Online Dominica initiative and the anticipated gap that would arise once the program concludes.

CIM is poised to play a critical role in ensuring the sustainability of the digital transformation movement that Work Online Dominica has sparked across the island. Armed with the knowledge, experience, and mentorship provided by IsraAID, CIM will continue to positively impact the lives of locals by guiding them towards opportunities in the digital economy.

The primary goal of CIM is to equip individuals for successful careers in the online digital space. Its objectives are as follows:

1. Develop and deliver training programs focused on online readiness and freelancing

platforms.

2. Provide workshops and resources that enable participants to win more contracts and

thrive in the online marketplace.

3. Facilitate virtual training sessions for more targeted, one-on-one support.

4. Foster a success mindset by helping participants understand and adapt to the

expectations of the digital workspace.

5. Create a community platform to offer ongoing support, networking, and growth

opportunities.

The partnership between IsraAID and CIM represents a progressive step toward ensuring that the legacy of Work Online Dominica lives on through locally driven initiatives. The program has already seen remarkable success, with many participants experiencing life-changing opportunities through online freelancing. CIM aims to continue this momentum by providing a sustainable platform for Dominica’s digital workforce.

The program will officially launch this week and interested participants should access the application form at www.workonlinedominica.org and apply.
