Daina Graneau hosts tea party to support her platform
Miss Dominica 2026 contestant #4, Daina Graneau, will host a special community event to promote her platform, “The Hidden Victims – A Commitment to Protecting the Innocence in Violent Homes.” The event, titled Daina’s Tea Party – “Here’s the Tea”, will take place on Saturday, December 20, 2025, beginning at 1:00 PM with a motorcade from Antrizle to St. Cyr, before returning to the Atkinson Primary School.
This innovative forum uses “tea” as a playful metaphor for truth, updates, and meaningful conversation. Miss Graneau will officially present her platform to the community while incorporating a festive Crazy Christmas Hat Competition for children, encouraging creativity, self‑expression, and confidence‑building.
Miss Graneau expressed her enthusiasm for the event, stating: “This is a fun and creative community forum where ‘tea’ means truth, updates, and meaningful conversation. It’s about engaging with my community in a way that is both informative and celebratory.
The tea party will provide an ideal opportunity for residents to connect with stakeholders, share information on national, cultural, and community initiatives, and highlight opportunities for advocacy, youth engagement, and small business development.
Community engagement through the Miss Dominica contestants’ platforms is a vital component of the pageant, fostering meaningful connections and raising awareness of important social issues. These initiatives play a critical role in building community support as contestants prepare to vie for the coveted Miss Dominica crown on February 12, 2026.
