Team Dominica to Officially Launch for CARIFTA Games 2026

The Dominica Athletics Association (DAA) is pleased to announce the Official Launch Ceremony of Team Dominica for the CARIFTA Games 2026.

The ceremony will take place at 2:00 PM on Saturday 28th March 2026 at the Prevo Cinemall Ballroom.

This event will serve as a formal introduction of the athletes and management team

representing Dominica as they prepare to compete at the regional championships.

The 53rd edition of the CARIFTA Games is scheduled to be held in Grenada from April 4–6, 2026.

Dominica will participate with a contingent of 15 athletes and will be accompanied by a six (6) member management team supporting the athletes throughout the competition and ensuring their full readiness for the Games.

This ceremony will feature addresses from DAA President Brendan Williams, DOC President Billy Doctrove and Officials from the Ministry of Youth, Sports, Culture and Community Development.

The Launch Ceremony will be streamed LIVE on the Dominica Athletics Association Facebook page, allowing members of the public, supporters, and well-wishers to join in celebrating and encouraging Team Dominica.

Members of the media, stakeholders, sponsors, and the wider public are invited to to follow the live stream from 2 PM.
