He also has firsthand professional experience working within the Kalinago Community as the Liaison Officer of the then Ministry of Kalinago Affairs and, most recently, as Liaison to the Kalinago Council. Emphasizing that support for the proposed components should not be an issue if the public is committed to electoral reform, Mr. Skerrit expressed optimism about introducing legislation to Parliament and passing it before this year's Budget Address. This move would entrust the implementation of the reformed laws and regulations to the electoral commission.

Mitchel underscored that by the year 2020, Dominica's Solid Waste Management successfully distributed over 17,000 residential bins across multiple communities on the island. Additionally, they disseminated 200 recycling crates to promote awareness and encourage proper waste sorting practices.
