Team Unity Dominica to Launch 2027 General Elections Campaign on Wednesday

Team Unity Dominica (TUD) will officially launch its campaign for the 2027 General Elections on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, during a media event at the Waterfall Room of the Fort Young Hotel, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

According to the party, the launch follows three years of preparation and will introduce members who have been actively engaging with communities across Dominica.

TUD said the event will also see the announcement of several candidates who will contest the next general elections. The party noted that the candidates have spent the past year or more working within their respective constituencies and have participated in a structured programme designed to prepare them for public office.

The campaign will be launched under the slogan “Clean Slate,” which TUD says reflects its commitment to a new approach to politics. While acknowledging that not all candidates are newcomers to political life, the party stated that those contesting under its banner will embrace what it describes as a “Clean Slate” philosophy centred on changing the country’s political narrative.

TUD said it aims to promote a style of politics rooted in respect and collaboration and views the media as an important partner in that process.

Following the launch, members of the media will have an opportunity to interact with the party’s candidates and representatives. The event is scheduled to commence at 10:00 a.m. at the Fort Young Hotel.
